WHERE CORNWALL IS
AT YOUR DOORSTEP

Treweens is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall but is also just 2 miles from Rock, Daimer Bay and the Camel Estuary with its many water sports, 2 miles from St Enodoc Links Golf course and 2 miles from the pretty village of Chapel Amble. For surfers it is 3 miles to Polzeath beach. For fans of Doc Martin it’s only 2 miles from Port Isaac and if it’s good food you are after then only 10 miles to Padstow. Wadebridge and the Camel cycle path are only 5 miles away.

ROCK - 2 MILES

This beautiful coastal area is great for water sports and sailing, and is just a short distance from Treweens. Don’t be fooled by its name, Rock is home to a mile-long sandy beach which provides gorgeous scenery all year round. The town also boasts a Michelin starred restaurant.

CAMEL ESTUARY - 2 MILES

This breath-taking area stretches from Wadebridge all the way down to Padstow Bay, and is classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Put on your walking boots, or get on your bike, and discover the 18-mile Camel trail (as well as the pubs along the way!), you won’t regret it.

ST ENODOC - 2 MILES

Ranked 99th in the world, St Enodoc is a haven for golfers. With two world-class courses, there’s plenty of opportunity to get a swing or two in. Meanwhile, history buffs can visit St Enodoc chapel which can be traced all the way back to 1299; or you could just have a g&t in the clubhouse bar!

SOUTH WEST COASTAL PATH

At 630 miles long, this coastal path is definitely not a walk to do in one day! Instead, why not try one of the shorter routes nearby? Pack a picnic and explore Cornwall’s iconic coast. There are plenty of trails to suit all abilities, just don’t forget to take a camera - the views are exquisite.

SURFER'S PARADISE - 3 MILES

Wiggle into your wetsuit and head down to Polzeath beach for a great surfing spot. This Blue Flag beach has water quality and safety which meets the highest standards, making it a great place for beginners. If you’re looking for a tougher surf, there are plenty to choose from along the coast.

DOC MARTIN FANS - 2 MILES

Fans of Doc Martin will be pleased to hear that we are just a short distance from Port Isaac where the show is filmed. This picturesque fishing village is just as you imagine, quaint and pretty. Visit Doc Martin’s surgery, or enjoy a pint of local ale in the cast’s favourite sport, the Golden Lion Pub.

Guest Reviews

Treweens B & B is set in peaceful countryside, though close to Padstow, Polzeath and Port Isaac. Nicky's generous spirit makes the whole experience restful and creates a feeling of being especially looked after. The bedroom is simple but very comfortable and the breakfasts are first class, with fresh fruit and freshly cooked locally sourced produce. Thank you, Nicky, for a very special stay for five nights.
